Captain America: Brave New World 2025
I think this film is getting criminally underrated. Was it a fun watch? Yes. Was it different for a marvel movie? Yes. But what is it MILES better than the last few projects including Quantumania, the marvels, etc. The only thing this film suffers from is scenes that were clearly cut entirely or reshot entirely, and due to it the quality is inconsistent at times (certain CG and green screen shots come to mind). If you’re a fan of sci-fi, this movie was great. But DON’T WATCH THE TRAILER. The trailer kind of reveals a little too much. This film felt like a feature black mirror episode (in a good way), and I thoroughly enjoyed it. There were several twists and turns I didn’t see coming but I would’ve had I seen the trailer beforehand. The ending also lights seem a little campy or cheesy to some but again, I enjoyed it.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny 2023
I have to say that as someone who grew up with the Indiana Jones movie and was still a kid when Crystal Skull came out, this movie was such a wonder to see in theaters. The artifact in question was so fantastical it really reignited that love for the franchise (for me). The movie is chock-full of references and call-backs to the other films, but more so the originals than crystal skull. I felt like it was a beautiful movie especially since I went in with mid-low expectations.
