  for a second I really thought I was going to love this one. the concept is great and I always appreciate getting to watch Nicole Kidman cook. overall though, I felt like the script relied too heavily on cliche and it flattened a lot of the characters for me. the ending especially felt really un-challenging to me, your base assumptions are rarely contradicted. there’s one scene that I felt was really undercut by this but can’t really talk about it…
