Wonderful dystopian Dr. Sues esc movie is the best I can describe it.

So this movie was fun.
Reminds me of the type of movie I would have thought was “SO COOL” when I was a kid.
I had a good time with it.
But I CANNOT FORGIVE the characters making THOSE SHOTS over the gorge with UNMAGNIFIED ASSAULT RIFLES.Other than that though I thought it was a great weeknight movie to decompress after work. The gorge’s visuals were really fun as brief as they were.

This movie is complicated for me. I’ll be honest in that I didn’t finish it the first time I tried to watch it.
The first part between the two brothers was great. The shots were beautiful. I enjoyed how Travis behaved and slowly came back to humanity.
Once he was at his brothers house, I got rather strange vibes between Travis and his brothers wife. Then was horrified by how casually the movie goes about essentially a kidnapping.
