Megalopolis 2024
This movie made me feel like Coppola asked the actors to take glitter markers and write undergraduate level philosophy on his butt cheeks in cursive. He then mooned me for 2 hours while giggling and sipping on magic mushroom tea.

Leave the World Behind 2023
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I love a lil pontification capped off with smug jokes. The fun here, for me, was paying close attention to the actor’s subtleties, peeling back the lil onion layers of jungian psychology (that burden us all) and watching the adults fight or flight instincts kick in.

Parasite 2019
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
*SPOILERS*
What a wild ride. Bon Jon plays the movie's protagonist, a young teacher, who has to fistfight a giant parasite monster that lives in his mother's basement. He is killed by the Rock of Riches. BUT we find out there are good parasites and bad parasites. Selfish organisms and grateful ones. Rich and poor.
THEN after a few more clever metaphors, Bon wins the title fight and his parents win their house back. But, there's always a catch.
Sometimes things just don't turn out the way you want.I hope Bong beats Lady On Fire.

Run Lola Run 1998
I remember renting this sucker at the local Video Star when I was 10. I must've been captured by the DVD cover to have used my one rental on a German film.
Running and shooting. Protect and attack.
If you want to take a bite of 90s nostalgia then, by all means, dive right in.Translated from by
