Rewatching the film for the first time since its initial release it still delivers as a film that is visually striking and a plot that is inspired. Performances by Adams and Renner are at their best in this sci-fi yet grounded film that keeps you guessing until the very end. Coppola adapts a story that has been around for a long time in a way that shows its appreciation of its history. Although there are elements of the film that are confusing to understand and keep up with it delivers a good retelling of the tale.
