  The further Eggers drifts from naturalism the less interesting I find his tightly controlled images. He falls prey surprisingly often here to the trap of shooting for the gifset. Every other shot screams for your recognition of its brilliance, demanding awe like it has us strapped to a wheelchair so we can bear witness to its Romantic-inspired back tat.
