Sonic the Hedgehog 3 2024
Went into this after only watching the first 1:20:00 of the first movie. Jim Carrey easily stole the show, but the animated characters seemed. Uninterested? In their deliveries. Keanu in particular didnt quite match the energy of Shadow. A lot of the oneliners didnt land for me, but it wasnt terrible. It was funny, but i couldnt really connect with the emotional moments. I was never a Sonic kid so maybe somethings just wrong with me. I will say tho, Live and Learn was done dirty. But overall, not half bad.

This movie deserves almost none of the criticism it gets. A sequel born from Universal wanting to capitalize on George Lucas' name after Star Wars was turned into genuinely one of the most intricate and unique films I've ever seen.
