Poor Things 2023
Loved! Was craving some good plot and I got it. Def all the body stuff was hard at times and at the beginning it’s hard to watch Emma stone pretend to be mentally disabled, but it developed quite nicely and had me engaged the whole time. Very beautiful set and costumes . At first you’re horrified by willem dafoe and by the end he’s the most beautiful of them all! Not sure about what it’s trying to say from a feminist perspective, but it doesn’t market itself to be saying anything profound in that regard.

I dunnooo…. All these actors just kinda felt like themselves and not the characters. It’s interesting but not sure of the message if there was one. Feel like it only scratched the surface especially since it’s a real case

O Brother, Where Art Thou? 2000
Don’t get the whole Clooney thing he kinda fell flat but the plot was cool I was very entertained. Very good music, haven’t read the odyssey so probably would be cooler if I have.
