If politicians are seen as corrupt by the general populace then how is it a "thrilling" notion for a film to reveal the true extent of the corruption in politcs?

A political thriller does not need to propose a inconcieved notion to thrill if the true depths of widely regarded truth thrill us enough.

So, whats the film's objective? Glorification of centralism will never leave the political relevance as extremism will never be contemporary. As the age old adage goes…

    3096 Days

    ★★

The 3096 days Natasha Kambusch experienced locked away in that house is a story of a life of torment, hurt and tragedy, but so were the years predating that and yet the film neglects that crucial detail.

The main strength of the film was the acting preformance from Antonia Campbell-Hughes, an actor who perfectly encapsulated the role.

I feel like a more moving film could've been created with the harrowing source material. I left the film with more questions than answers.

    ★★★★

A piece of cinema that can not be described as film, but rather art. A sublime collection of annacdotes and an introspective perspective into the "The Simpsons" universe. This movie cannot be faulted and can only be described as a cinematic masterpiece. I cannot praise the director enough for this artistic marvel. 5 stars.
