at least it’s a different horror concept. one of those movies though where you already know how it ends from the start

cute and fun for a halloween movie but even for kids the plot is way too simple. granny couldn’t get all 3 things for her talisman but the kids were able to get them in 10 minutes? okay.

maybe i’m just a contrarian but when directors fail to bring justice to a book i just can’t get past it. the book was brilliant about making you actually second guess if tyler had been there all along. you wouldn’t think tyler was actually a separate person when the narrator is walking around his house hearing tyler and marla in the bedroom?? did people who highly rated this movie even read the book?? there’s no reason to watch this movie again. it couldn’t even capture a 1/4 of how the story was told in the book.

rated this as a 2 and a half the first time i saw it. now it’s absolutely ruined after reading the books, over half the plot is missing 😫 i understand it’s already a long movie but they could’ve at least gave harry a reason to suspect snape wanted to get through the guard dogs?? he just woke up one day and said “snape has the wound cause of this!” okay??? your reason is???
