  Little Women 2019

  My dad just finished reading the book after he raised three little women, so we immediately sat down to watch the movie. He was very critical about the liberties taken (even after fair warning), which was honestly annoying but whatever I respect it. 

  In my opinion — this movies a dream, all of it. 
  The cast, the costumes, the soundtrack, the characters, Timothee Chalamet, the sisterhood... all of it. 

  And I only wept 4 times.

  The Princess Diaries 2001

  A long time family favorite that’s always somehow relevant. Asked my parents if I should use finger guns to attract boys like Mia. Dad was not amused, Mom did not understand. 
  Without a doubt, Joe is the hero of this whole movie & deserves all the credit in the world. That’s all. 

  Watched with mom & dad as we ate our ration of ice cream.

  So first of all — this is Maddie McLaughlin’s absolute favorite movie, therefore you know it is the most wholesome + important work of art to exist. 

  And it is. 

  Mads wrote an incredible + spot on review about Inside Out, and I honestly don’t think I can top it. So read her review for a real understanding of the movie but then come back here and notice one instance where Inside Out aligns just so perfectly with another masterpiece…
