I watched this film on a cold rainy day while working on a 500 piece jigsaw puzzle in my university’s library, it was quite possibly the most perfect setting.
I watched this movie for the dog and I’m so glad I did. The only reason Anatomy of a Fall isn’t at 5 stars is because the dog should have been in more scenes.
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I hadn’t seen any trailers and decided to watch it with a friend on a $5.50 Tuesday at my local theater and had absolutely no idea what to expect. Poor Things was absolutely incredible but I never want to watch it again, or at least anywhere besides a theater. It’s one of those movies you can only realistically watch once, or at least only I can watch once. I don’t think I could stomach the organs and the Frankenstein-esque surgeries…
NATE IS THE VILLAIN and I stand by that
I love love love this movie
While Will’s personal and relationship development throughout this film was incredibly poignant, seeing Ben Affleck with his soulmate Dunkin’ Donuts on screen by far moved me the most. It’s honestly impressive how this is probably his longest committed relationship, like you kinda have to respect the brand loyalty.
Joking aside, I really enjoyed watching this movie and Robin Williams truly gives an amazing performance. R.I.P.
I don’t have many complaints about the film but it was a bit disappointing hearing the r slur in every sentence and having almost no women in the film.
