90 minutes of whining.

Classic western with great acting and spots of humor.

I didn’t really enjoy the story line - essentially a man annoying/harassing a woman into liking him. I also did not like the very long song/dance number during which Fred Astaire is in black face. It felt entirely unnecessary for him to perform and then continue acting in that makeup. I understand the movie was made in the 30s but I don’t particularly care.

The acting was incredible! It made me feel uncomfortable to sit and listen to two married people bicker and abuse one another. I did feel a little confused by the storyline at times but by the end I was back on track and knew what was going on.
