  I decided to just let myself enjoy this one even tho it was off to a bit of a rocky start. Then it got funny. A guy saying “hold on” to another character for way too long while he takes a sip of water had me dying among other things, plus Fugit is a sweet cutie. Ughh.

  Not a lot of depth, but obviously trying. Lots of characters. Felt a bit too much like a movie at times, if that makes sense. 
  Loved “our hats”/NYC trip and Gena Rowlands ofc. 1 full star for Helmut.

  “You know, I had this dream last night, like, the whole world had been blown up five years ago, and right to smithereens and everyone’s just floatin’ around on parts for, they hadn’t even realized what had happened yet.” 

  Wow. Can’t believe I haven’t seen this or had it recommended to me. 
  I really enjoyed this. 

  The setting here is just ripe for the insane neoliberalism and hyper individualism beginning to really take hold in the US at the time.
