Can’t say I liked it because the film did what it was meant to do: scare the audience with an unwavering tension against an imminent danger, and communicate not only the fear but the anger of towards an awful case of authority inaction. It felt like the right way to explore the serial killer genre. A very strong debut for director Anna Kendrick!
Entertaining and interesting concept for sure, but maybe they should have toned down just a little the “everything all at once” thing, to “a lot of things, often at the same time”. A little too much, but enjoyable overall, and superb performances from Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan and Stephanie Hsu.

It was alright, but honestly could have been 30 minutes shorter. The ending was sooooo long, and predictable. Felt bad for Art, and his kid, annoyed by Tashi and Patrick, so acting performances were pretty good, as expected. But what was up with that music?
