I Want to Eat Your Pancreas 2018
Oh my god. And I thought erased was a tear jerker. This was incredibly well done n I was super emotionally invested in the plot. tht being said, I honestly found that Sakura’s character remained p static, esp given the film’s mass praise for “insane” character development. Like we knew from the outset that she’s super brave n optimistic n stuff, but as her narrative unfolds, we r simply given confirmation of these initial impressions. The relationship she cultivates w haruki doesn’t seem to affect her growth nearly as much as it does w him. Still a fire film. poor Haruki n poor Sakura 😢.
