Joe Alwyn trying to speed run the worst character list imaginable.
I loved the first two and then hated almost every minute of the third. It almost felt like Yorgos was punishing the audience for voluntarily sitting through the whole movie.

Fits in nicely with the likes of Tàr in one of my favorite subgenres, Biopics about Fictional Artists. Corbet takes advantage of the creative freedom allowed in these types of movies and all on a 10mil budget. Adrien Brody also delivered one of the best performances I've ever seen.
I agree with a lot of takes that this was a little pretentious and messy in the second half, but at the same time, I kind of like that? There's so…
I've been a fan of Shyamalan for a while. I know going in that (most of the time) I'm going to see something unique and satisfyingly cheesy. Trap has some of my favorite trademarks of a Shyamalan film, bad dialogue, non-sensical plot turns, but ultimately, this one is unusually boring. It could have been made by any mediocre thriller director.
