  Rebel Without a Cause 1955

  Intrinsic film of the counter-culture of the 1950's that sheds light on cause and effect of the failing parenting role in the era. James Dean fills the role of a rebellious high schooler, internally conflicted with the interests of a compassionate teenager and a daring man. The film shows the struggle of the youth proving their worth and reacting to the personalities of their parents.
  The perspective illustrated of the teens in the film can be compared to the isolation of The Lost Generation during the roaring twenties.
