Such high expectations but this movie bombed. Some parts were almost tough to watch. Jennifer carried me to the ending. What a great girl would have to be an idiot not to get the job done with her.

Manchester by the Sea 2016
People love this film and I see why. It’s slow paced but it definitely hits emotionally. The ending isn’t what you’d expect and left me with some questions and a little disappointed. For the aesthetic, setting, characters, and how the past and present are connected I give it the four stars.
