I wanted to love this film so bad. I’m so happy it exists - gorgeous, tender, non linear heart filling and breaking, and there’s love in this film, which also means there is loss.
BUT… I was bored and I hate to admit it, but it felt more suited to another way of viewing. Perhaps in an art context, multi-channel full immersive filmic experience. As opposed to on this tiny airplane screen.

The POV was refreshing and the dismissal of linearity wonderful.
Heartbreaking, and necessary watch, I sobbed and sobbed at the end.
It makes me think a lot about the state of the world in 2025.
Oh and the music, Ethiopian jazz after Turner tells at Elwood to run in a zig zag. Perhaps jazz is zig zag music. Exactly.
Beautifully done. Composition, lighting. The performance by the electrician was incredible. This gives me renewed hope in Nigerian cinema - more of this. Bravo!
