  The second one is a bit better. Do we really need an Art the clown possible reason for existing? We don't. But plenty of great new kills. Taking a literal chainsaw to annoying podcasters is pure chefs kiss. Bring on the next one.

  Beautifully balanced movie and the contrast between the cousins is perfectly balanced with humor and a touch of heart. We have that friend or family member we might want to be but also resent for being them. Kieren Culkin does his best to break away from Roman Roy and is given the most to do. Awkwardness is this movies greatest strength.

  I read the book many years ago, so a lot of the details are lost in the disaster that is my memory. I did recognize the twist that was coming midway through the movie but that doesn't dull the brilliance of how this was filmed. This is set during the Jim Crow era at a reformatory school where our main character is unjustly sent after a phony traffic stop. This separates him from his very loving grandmother Hattie.
