Saltburn 2023
A vague character study that felt a lil pretentious at times. Relied too much on that “A24 vibe” to give it intrigue.
Lotta empty visual metaphors that never really go anywhere or resolve. The ending works against the mystery they did manage to establish- which kinda made me mad but unsurprising Looool
Some rly nice shots/setups tho. Barry Keoghan looks pretty ethereal as a stoic friend. Kinda pulls u in with a Harry Potter-ish charm.
If you saw ‘dont worry darling’ it’s a similar level of blue balls lol
