After being very critical of the “monster verse” I am happy to say that we FINALLY have a true Godzilla film that pays homage to the original 1954 film and takes advantage of 2023 technology. For a reported budget of only $15 million, the visual effects are outstanding. There are definitely times where the budget shows, but these are only on a few occasions.

As I teacher I have used this movies the last few years during the Catholic Morality portion of my class. Having watched this films several times with the various classes, I am always reminded how much I truly love this film.
Not only is it a great example of a moral scenario that will ultimately lead to various opinions, but it is also just a well made movie.

This is a must see documentary for this generation. It is truly sad that Letterboxd has decided to play politics and censor the reviews for this film which is objectively well-made and incredibly important for our time with so much confusion and when out right rejection of reality is rampant.
