Poor Things 2023
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Good lord what a movie. The kind of thing that is just so strange and absurd and keeps you absorbed the whole time. Emma Stone does a phenomenal job and good lord I didn't realize Mark Ruffalo could act outside of the MCU.
Literally my only gripe is that Alfie feels rather shoehorned in, I only wish there was just the tiniest bit of extra foreshadowing to him. But otherwise it was a fantastic watch.

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish 2022
I didn't expect so much from Puss in Boots 2 but my god this is genuinely one of the best movies I've seen in a while. It's honestly hilarious, beautifully animated, exciting, heartfelt, has a brilliant portrayal of anxiety, and one of the scariest villains I've ever seen in a kids film.
This movie makes me feel the same way I did coming out of Spider-Verse. That is a HUGE compliment from me.
