This was just loads of fun.
I went in knowing nothing except it was Bong Joon-Ho, Robert Pattinson and that he dies a lot, and came away really, REALLY entertained.
It's funny, it's weird, it's quirky, but most of all it's enjoyable and I had a great time. In a film littered with great performances, Robert Pattinson is particuarly amazing and continues to show that he's one of the best actors in modern Hollywood.
An absolutely solid Sci-Fi film with a great concept that's executed really well and kept a smile on my face the entire runtime. What more could I ask for?

Visceral, atmospheric, dark, gothic and absolutely beautiful to look at. Some of the shots in this film are STAGGERING in their beauty.
Greatly acted, yes even Aaron Taylor-Johnson in my opinion. Skarsgård is unrecognisable as the titular vampire and Lily-Rose Depp puts in an all timer horror performance.
It could have been paced slightly better and maybe shortened 10 or 15 minutes, but they're my only gripes with it.
Overall, Robert Eggers continues to make incredible horror films that are a flavour all his own and I'm excited to see what he does next.
Watched this for Cailee Spaeny and my love for the original, but went in expecting complete and utter garbage...
Yup.
This made me realise how badly I want David Fincher to make a movie adaption of Silent Hill 4.

Absolutely fucking outstanding! I cannot believe this is a film that is actually in cinemas.
I purposely waited until the first day of October to watch this and start my spooky season off on a high note, and it delivered in spades.
This really is like a fever-dream, acid-trip of everything I love in a horror film taken to grotesque levels. Any film that reminds me of Society and/or Braindead gets top marks and there is a level of gore…

Igor is the homie, she should've married him instead.
The first 3rd of this film is one of the horniest starts to a film I've seen, and then the following two thirds were WAY funnier than I was expecting. All 3 parts were pretty intense but it ramped up nicely, pacing was spot on.
I was already a huge Mikey Madison fan before this, I mean she WAS Ghostface, and she's absolutely spectacular here. She sells the entire film, not…
