This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Not every movie has to have unpredictable plot twists to be good. I appreciated this film because it's about creepy men (I'm sure there are women too) who think women are rather helpless and they're the only ones who can take care of them. OK, irl not as extreme but these types exist who justify their aberrant actions on a convenient self righteous excuse.

Racist? Stereotypes? Perhaps yes at times, but these exist irl. Against the backdrop of all that, it still managed to melt my heart. Why? Because at the end of the day, it's a movie about understanding, cultural differences and deep caring. May be cliche but still relevant.

Continuation of the old story of a generation from a different contemporary lense. Cold, final, irreversible consequences. Dragged out waaay too long. 1st hour could've been clipped. Ending was 5 stars, just too long and pacing was off.
