  Tagalog folklore HITS I need more media about Filipino mythology. I feel as though the film was actively emphasizing Spanish colonial rule and its influence on the land. The characters in this film are well to do and in a much more noble position, before of course the father becomes a traitor and puts the family in danger. Tala, the main character is named after the star goddess Tala. Light is often mentioned in this film as symbolism for guidance.…
