action shlock, Star Wars brain go burrrr. Needed more time with characters, a great concept, and a bit of fan service in both a negative and positive way. five stars for sinning off into Andor. Visually amazing outside of Tarkin.

I saw this movie in theaters two nights in a row. I love every shot of this movie. It avoids many tropes of vampire movies of the past while grounding itself in the lore & history of vampires. It is the scariest depiction I've ever seen. The performances are stellar from the detailed period-accurate language & the genuine horror they portray. I will be quoting this movie a lot. "I was supposed to be the prince of rats" I felt overwhelming dread…
