Rain Man 1988
There’s a scene about an hour in where a nurse, on hearing the term ‘autistic’ says ‘I’m not familiar with that’. So it’s fair to say things have moved on quite a lot since 1988, and I can understand why some might suggest the film is very dated in its depiction of the condition, exploitative and even offence.

They're Outside 2020
Wow. Just wow.
Truly atrocious. No saving graces. Embarrassingly bad acting. A script beyond cringeworthy. Characters you just want to drown in a bucket. A plot with no merit.
What amazes me is that FrightFest would include this in their virtual horror film festival. I know these are tough times with COVID but this was the equivalent of going to Pizza Express & being served a turd on a plate. I was never expecting a gourmet dinner but I’d still hoped for something reasonably edible.
