Sonic the Hedgehog 3 2024
Incredible film with immaculate pacing, fantastic new characters, higher stakes and mind blowing set pieces. Yet again Jim Carrey is the standout of the movie this time playing both robotnik and his grandfather with Impressive comedic delivery. Doctor robotnik is also interestingly given a lot more depth within this film creating a more sympathetic role rather than being the ruthless maniac with an immense superiority complex depicted in the first two movies. The writing is surprisingly tight with each character playing an important role and features surprisingly creative ways of implementing smaller side characters from the previous titles.

Better than the first movie with much more originality. The human characters plotline comes across as more fun and enjoyable as they're mostly disconnected from the heavier action focus put on the main storyline with sonic, tails, knuckles and robotnik. The higher stakes and the more appropriate setpeices makes this movie great to come back to
