  I’ve thought a lot about why I dislike this movie so much. Not only is it just a hard watch, it showcases women as innocent, stupid, sexual objects. Is no one going to talk about the fact that Mi-do says she understands why Oh Dae-Su tried to r*pe her? Or how she tells him that even if she says stop while they’re having sex to not listen to her? Of course a male director will get away with writing these things. Men love to see women being violated, they get pleasure out of it, and they find it humorous. Gross movie.
