Slow burn to my 2020's taste, this 62 year old movie is amazingly fresh and easily captivating. Good art stands the test of time and this movie this a case in point. Also because themes of brainwashing and mind control make for extremly captivating stories. A very well made thriller. I am starting to appreciate black and white movies a lot more.

Vicky Kaushal's ferocious interpretation saved what would've other wise be a damn boring movie. Also, Akhay Khanna as Aurangzeb was a role I believe he thoroughly enjoyed enacting.

Trash panda compared to the gem that was Uncut Gems, Hubie Halloween is still shores better than the traversities of That's My Boy and Jack and Jill.

Sandle's latest is yet another example of middle age stars clinging on to old glory with diminished results.

Mediocre.

The first half was actually mid. The screenplay actually felt wayward and unfocused. But that payoff! When the story comes full circle.. movies exist in our social milieu for moments like these. Chidambaran and co. knew they had a banger of a script and they played well. The boys knocked it out. Idk how it'll fare on rewatching but damn, what a time at the silver screen.
