seeing this in theaters was so satisfying…I felt like her killing that “thing” (you can’t call it a baby you really can’t) was the only possible way she would’ve gained freedom, so while others winced I was very happy for her. I was super sad to see the only real “friend” (they seemed way too deep) she had be killed for wanting to escape with her and actually get her help, she truly cared for her.

It was really beautiful actually & it makes me want to name my first child bea. It showed how women suffer so severely & get mistreated in their daily lives at the hands of horrible men, after they finally break from the pressure they kill themselves & get transported into a world where they are essentially sirens & can lure those very men there to kill them. There are power struggles, women empowerment, a tad bit of love, tragedy , this movie really has it all. It made me cry & it had me on the edge of my seat!

baby was by far the best character, her expressions, the way she laughed and talked held my attention throughout the entire movie. she’s a very complex character that I honestly don’t think I could ever get tired of seeing/hearing. I had a discussion with a friend about how I thought baby just yearned for attention or a deep love that could take her away from her current life and things she’s witnessed/done. also tiny just eating his bowl of cereal and shrugging at otis made me cackle.
