It's a pretty good movie. You have to keep asking yourself, how is this cat still alive? And the characters all feel pretty natural for animals... but slowly the animals start to feel smarter than juuust animals. TBH it's a 4 because the whole movie has been pretty good, then you get to the climax and that scene happens and you're left wondering... wtf was that?? was this alluded to?? Everything after the climax is good too but idk that climax felt outta left field. Would recommend

Alien: Romulus 2024
Fun stand alone alien movie. 2 hours flew by. The main plot is a little shallow but that helps with the characters believability. No contrived scientists who-should-know-better. I liked the concept for forcing human evolution, but it's ultimately just used to make the climax alien happen. You could swap in any alien and it would play out exactly the same way.
6/10Clean editing, sets are good, aliens look great( hybrid debatable)

Godzilla Minus One 2023
The best godzilla film. While it does use some common film tropes it demonstrates exactly how they are meant to be used and is better for it. On top of being an excellent film, it also manages this with a minuscule budget by today's standards.
