    On a pure technical level, this movie is very good. The performances and cinematography being the main standouts. However, there’s something that feels missing here in regard to the story. My feelings for this are similar to PTA’s other works Inherent Vice and There Will Be Blood.     It’s very hard to give a “proper” review because of the sheer depth that this movie has. The nuclear family and specifically American ideals have always been at the forefront of Clint’s movies. However this one does such a great job at making you think, feel, and question everything. A very moving film that is more than worth the watch.
