Dreamy and grotesque, immaculate American suburbia. One of the best representation of BDSM vs abuse and the unapologetic (gruesome and realistic) portrayal of men I would never expect from a man director. But once again, Lynch is the familiar in the unexpected.
Isabella Rossellini is just incredible in this, maybe one of her best rawest performances. Laura Dern and Kyle MacLachlan are babies ready to bloom.
