this movie is phenomenal. the portrayal of a mother daughter relationship makes me want to cry my eyes out. ladybird is the perfect representation of a child, of any age at that. the immaturity and wanting to disassociate from the dependence she has on her mother. when she finally gets it, the realization of how much she needs her mothers love is the perfect explanation of what most every son feels when they stray away…

i have never watched a movie that has made my sob. this perfectly illustrates the pressure of life and the regrets of the decisions you made in your past, unaware of the consequences. along with perfectly blending the sci-fi complexities of the multiverse which in my opinion dealt with it much better than marvel.
