Dawn of Impressionism: Paris 1874 2025
my apologies Berthe Morisot, I wasn’t familiar with your game (where was Cassatt though?)
For peak enjoyment, watch with red wine and three little old ladies behind you, huffing in amusement. Some clunky transitions took me out of it, but I liked how they recreated the Salon and delved into the Franco-Prussian War to contextualize that first show, whilst destabilizing popular perceptions of Impressionism. And from now on, I’ll be submitting all projects with a still life of fish for a safety net.

The Last Showgirl 2024
gave me the old razzle dazzle with stunning costumes, dreamy handheld shots and some truly tremendous performances! Pam Anderson!! Jamie Lee Curtis!! Honorable mention Dave Bautista!
the script needed another few drafts to develop characters/obvious dialogue, but yeah I was sobbing when the Miley song came on
