Just not for me. Rob Patt’s accent drove me insane from minute one, but he was definitely the saving grace. Felt so many plot points were disregarded or undeveloped. Mickey 17, more like Mickey 127 hours until this was finally over.

Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy 2025
Now I must admit I had only watched the first one before this(nothing a couple of YouTube recaps can’t fix). As the tag suggests I did cry a few times. Was it cringe at times? Absolutely. Did Hugh Grant playing the quintessential Hugh Grant character almost save my enjoyment of the film? Absolutely. Sure, you knew what was going to happen by the end but the way grief was touched upon did warm my heart. Also Bridget please, get a hairbrush 😭
