How do people get something from this. All the symbolism and themes are so apparent and played out that I don’t see the point for this film to get a positive reception. High expectations always kill my enjoyment. It was standard horror movie plot. I liked the setting and the protagonist, I want a spin-off survival adventure horror video game of that. Also there was a part where all of the exposition was dumped and extinguished any mystery left.
