There's Still Tomorrow 2023
The scene where the husband beats her during a choreography is one of the most powerful scenes I've seen in a movie lately. It made me cry. This movie touches very important topics in a very simple way, with a kindness that really shows that the director is a woman. It is funny and heartbreaking and uplifting. Paola Cortellesi please be my mother.

I kinda expected to cry with this movie, as the first one made me bawl my eyes out. I didn't, but I really liked how Anxiety made things worse by trying to help, which is a good metaphor of how anxiety actually works brain-wise.
I wish we saw more of Ennui, Embarrassment and Envy, because they felt like they were there just to bring the plot forward and were not very interesting characters.
