Can’t believe I missed this one for so long. Excellent film that knows exactly the story it wants to show, and gives you nothing else. It’s open ended in terms of what happened to Calum, because that’s not what Sophie is trying to find out. Instead we see a somewhat confused Sophie piecing together an accurate picture of her father’s reality using a combination of physical film (what her father wanted to be remembered as), her younger self’s unreliable memory…

Some confusing cuts in the edit between flashbacks. Other than that a nearly perfect film. Best t-chazza performance I can recall (haven’t seen dune yet so idk), but Steve carrell was immaculate.

Excellent movie lives up to the hype. Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt and RDJ deserve all the awards that they can get, RDJ especially deserves best supporting actor. One of Nolan’s best and a true showing of his ability to create the best movies in this age. Also good to see the sheer amount of notable members of the cast that all wanted to be a part of this film, even if they only had a few lines. Overall an excellent film that gives a true honest insight into an extremely significant person.

Very simplistic but genuinely excellent and entertaining. A bit bourne-ish as it feels like you are just watching a contract killer for two hours.
