  The only thing I felt during this movie was bewildered

  He juggles a couple ideas but ends up botching them all. There’s the begginings of a interesting character in Napoleon but it never gets developed so it ends up just coming off as goofy. It centres itself around his relationship with Josephine, but it never develops her. Worst of all it doesn’t feel grounded historically so it ends up feeling like a goofy retelling rather than a story of a real person.

  Beautiful movie with great practical effects, but it doesn’t go deeper than that.

  Not worth the watch, overstays it’s welcome.

  This movie wishes it was megalopolis.

  Can’t tell if it was supposed to be a character study or an analysis of society it didn’t really do either.

  There’s the beginning of a movie I’d like here but it’s ultimately a bread sandwich.
