This film has balls. The popular "The Lord of the Rings" property is turned into an animated film, set years before the events we all associate with the story, about characters who are vaguely connected to the main narrative. The animation is beautiful, and it has some great vocal work, especially by Brian Cox, but nothing makes it stand out or measure up to the original triolgy. WB is in financial alert, and funding a niche project like this definitely was a gamble that didn't pay off. It isn't terrible, but just fine.

Venom: The Last Dance 2024
Tom Hardy is the only reason that this isn't a total bomb. The actor dedicates so much to this role with expert physical acting and comedic chops. The rest is ridiculously dumb, with a narrative that felt like a 13 year old wrote it.

Dating & New York 2021
“Dating and New York” is a film that isn’t made that much anymore and is completely light on its feet. Even though it is full of cheese, it is a harmless film full of good looking actors who play into the corny feel of Feingold’s directorial debut.
