Michael Moore is big old liberal boomer who loves to strike fear and agitate.

There are some really good and thought provoking moments in here, like really good. However Michael is not as cerebral as he thinks it is.

Much to chew on, but it’s just kind duh- guns bad, Canada good, Charleton Heston bad. Lowest common denominator liberalism with good bits.

Coursing through my head while watching this movie was “catastrophe”

Beautiful to look at, hollow in every other capacity. The question is why seek out with the privilege of critical acclaim and big WB money to make something that sullies your legacy so?

The first Joker is a film with a complicated legacy. I remember those fearing it would create incel terrorism. And don’t get me started on the taxi driver rip-off accusations.

    But I love Joker. it’s musings on…

I’ve always had a thick skin with movies, but this broke me. I cried, I gagged, I was on the verge of a panic attack.

This is horror pushed beyond the limits of the genre. Everything I’ve heard you guys say about it, grotesque, triumph, film of the year. All true.

This is a rare, profound, full realised masterpiece that has immediately earned its place among the pantheon of the genre.

Star ratings don’t mean shit when facing a work of its calibre, but easy five stars.
