Nowhere near as engaging as JFK but an interesting narrative nonetheless. Maybe because I was unaware of the extent of the surveillance! Spooky. Romantic subplot detracts completely. Also JGL’s voice is hilarious at times in this but an overall great performance

Civil War 2024
Spent most of this trying to work out how old Cailee Spaeny is. Definitely interesting but left me feeling like it could have been so much more. Wasn’t boring at all though! Just feel like the commentary is fairly surface level and didn’t leave me with any other thought/feeling besides war photography is crazy and war is bad

Suspiria 1977
Watched properly this time! Aside from the score and cinematography genuinely everything else is mediocre to bad. Like the writing and performances are distractingly bad and i get its kind of a giallo sensibility but the dubbing is so awful. Also the sound including the score is sometimes so quiet its muddy and difficult to hear and sometimes is so awfully loud you again cant hear anything. It also suffers the biggest sin of being a bit dull. The highlights are massively high though!!!! The final 5-10 minutes are my favourite
