The underlying theme of the film was portrayed in a powerful, yet palatable manner that evokes some very strong emotions and touches on relevant issues. However, this storyline has felt played out many times before in numerous current films and I found some parts, except for the ending, to be quite predictable. On the other hand, Tatum’s performance is spine-chillingly exceptional and quite gripping. And, Kravitz executes in showcasing her array of talent through a phenomenal directoral debut. Overall, an entertaining and compelling film, definitely worth the watch.
