A hilarious, fresh take on the high school coming-of-age comedy. Sunny & Lupe show what it looks like to be in a kind, healthy friendship. I greatly appreciate the energy given to exploring teen-parent relationships. I think a parent's relationship to their child as they're exploring what it means to be themselves and make mistakes is not often central to these stories so its satisfying to see those relationships explored.
