Pretty great perspective, really captures the feeling of loneliness and desperation well. Most scenes feel super intimate, as both him and her become more vulnerable with one another.
Really thoughtful, I appreciate the overall calmness this movie portrays.
I liked when he said “They’re people they need oxygen, you’re not a person” sort of lashing out at her over the way she spoke with breath. It’s only natural to eventually find a relationship with someone who’s not there unnatural.…

I feel we may never quite make fantasy movies this great again, along with other classics like The Labyrinth and Never Ending Story.
There’s extreme detail put into every aspect of the film. I especially appreciate the hard work applied to the costumes and puppets. There was so much intention, passion, and genuine love that clearly went into making this movie. I will forever admire Jim Henson for his beautiful work, he was an amazing part of my childhood, from The Muppets and Fraggle Rock to this more dark and truly unique work of art.
