Such a nothing burger of a movie, bringing nothing new or exciting to the table. Cult movies have become popular, but this one adds nothing to the genre. Ayo is great, but closing the film with that pretentious as Fuck ending to this movie just pissed me off. Disappointing

The Brutalist 2024
As someone who isn’t Jewish but happens to be among the few million people fluent in both Hungarian and English at a native level, I felt deeply honored to fully appreciate the Hungarian scenes in The Brutalist. Major props to the cast—everyone’s Hungarian was practically flawless, which is no small feat.
This film is a stunning deconstruction of the American Dream, the immigrant experience, and the sacrifices required to create something timeless and beautiful. It's haunting, I'm still processing it all.
